Republic of Fremantle is an internationally award winning urban distillery with a small bar and kitchen in the heart of Fremantle's West End.
Republic of Fremantle is one of the few distilleries in the world to craft spirits from scratch using innovative grape to glass distilling methods. They source wine from West Australian vineyards and carefully double distil in a custom-built copper still. This small batch process allows RoF to create a unique base spirit that retains hints of character from the wine. The grape base spirit is then crafted into the Signature Vodka and each of their gins, Aromatic and Full Bodied.
A cocktail menu takes inspiration from their distilling ethos to ensure great spirits are at the heart of every sip. The food and drinks menu features an eclectic selection of small share plates and aperitivo style snacks starring local fresh products and designed to perfectly complement the cocktail list.
Gin and Vodka Tastings
The Republic of Fremantle Distillery is open to the public daily from 11am for tastings of their flagship vodka and gins, along with tastings of their bottle cocktails. Tasting experiences run for approximately 20 minutes, costing $15pp or free if you make any bottle purchase.
Distillery tours
Experience a guided tour of the distillery and hear tales of the Republic, the history of craft distilling and discover more on the innovative grape to glass distilling process. Taste the flagship range of Signature Vodka, Aromatic Gin and Full Bodied Gin and finish with a complimentary drink at the bar.
Classes
Become a Citizen Distiller when you join the Republic for Gin School. A hands-on experience where you will create your own botanical bill and distil your own Gin using charming mini-pot stills.
Cocktail School is an intimate cocktail masterclass with one of the Republic's expert bartenders. This 1-hour class is perfect for 4-8 guests would be a great experience for a private group.
