Fremantle is set to welcome a major new live music event in 2027, with Palace Foreshore Fremantle announcing a series of headline outdoor concerts at Esplanade Park across February and March. The first act confirmed is global electronic music icon Fatboy Slim, who will perform on Wednesday 3 March 2027.

As the Dockers charge into the 2026 AFL Finals Series, the city is embracing full-blown Dockers Mania, with streets, shopfronts and public spaces transforming into a sea of purple in support of the hometown team.
