WA Day Festival at Fishing Boat Harbour

Celebrate WA Day in Fremantle with live entertainment, cultural performances and family-friendly activities by the water.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour, Bathers Beach and the WA Shipwreck Museum, this lively WA Day celebration features a dynamic program of live entertainment from around the world. 

Highlights include performances by Wadumbah Dance Group and Apotezzy Samba, along with colourful cultural showcases, roaming performers and high-energy acts across the precinct. Families can explore dedicated discovery zones featuring creative workshops, interactive storytelling and hands-on activities, along with unique attractions such as the Mermaid Aquarium & Marine Wonder Experience and Monster Trucks.

The WA Day Derby remains one of WA sport’s marquee occasions, bringing together generations of Bulldogs & Sharks supporters in a celebration of football, community and Fremantle spirit.

Arrival Festival: Oren Ambarchi

Oren Ambarchi is an Australian multi-instrumentalist based in Berlin whose practice focuses on the exploration of the guitar. He is a prolific solo artist and consummate collaborator who has performed and recorded with a diverse array of artists over the last three decades
