This August, Fremantle welcomes one of football's most passionate clubs as Palermo FC brings a taste of Sicily to Western Australia during Calcio Italiano in Perth.
As part of a historic week that sees AC Milan, Inter, Juventus and Palermo play in Perth, Fremantle will become the home of Palermo FC and Festa Siciliana, a vibrant community hub celebrating football, culture, food and the enduring connections between Sicily and Fremantle.

Celebrate Fremantle's deep Sicilian heritage at the Fremantle Festa Siciliana, a free community event bringing together football, family and culture.
Delivered in partnership with the City of Fremantle, Tourism WA and Fremantle City Football Club, the event will feature:
- Little Italy Pop Up
- Junior football activities
- Family entertainment
- Palermo FC player and legend appearances
- A showcase of Fremantle's strong Sicilian connections
The event highlights the generations of Sicilian families who have helped shape Fremantle's identity and celebrates the enduring bond between Western Australia and Sicily.

Experience the sights, flavours and spirit of Sicily at Casa Sicilia, Palermo FC's official community hub during their first-ever Australian tour.
Set on the Fremantle waterfront, Casa Sicilia will be a gathering place for supporters, families and visitors, featuring:
- Sicilian-inspired food and beverages
- Live entertainment
- Family-friendly activities
- Opportunities to meet Palermo FC representatives, players and club legends
Visitors may also have the chance to see Palermo Head Coach Filippo Inzaghi, World Cup winner with Italy in 2006, alongside club legends Amauri and Fabrizio Miccoli.
