10 Nights in Port | Walyalup Fremantle Festival is an annual celebration of arts, music, performance and community.

Running between 20–30 August, the 2026 festival will see intimate performances through to large-scale installations unfold across Walyalup | Fremantle, transforming the city into a trail of creative encounters.

In 2026, the festival centres on the theme of ‘huddle’, drawing people into Walyalup | Fremantle to experience warmth, light and connection, and creating spaces that invite moments of pause, reflection and togetherness.

Known by several names throughout its long history, 10 Nights in Port is widely recognised as one of Australia’s oldest recorded festivals, reflecting the evolving story of Fremantle | Walyalup and its people.

Opening Night

Gather at this free, family festival event to celebrate the start of the festival. An evening of food, fire and celebration in the beautiful grounds of Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre. Also, the gallery opening for Nullians by Kambarni and In Our Hands, We Hold. 20 AUGUST

Future Treasures

Future Treasures is a hands-on workshop series designed for aspiring young musicians who are ready to take the next step in their musical journey. VARIOUS DATES The Future Treasures showcase will feature indie folk-pop trio The Stamps alongside other Future Treasures select bands. 23 AUGUST

Feast & Fire

The kiln will be ignited on the penultimate night of the festival as part of Feast & Fire, a winter gathering of soul-warming, fire-cooked food, installations and live music from Red Earth Sound System. As night falls, effigies and sculptures will blaze to life alongside the firing of the dragon kiln, bringing audiences together around fire. 29 AUGUST

Tides

Set within the atmospheric surrounds of the WA Shipwrecks Museum, Tides is an immersive performance where music, moving image and maritime history converge. Projected directly onto the stern, striking imagery by Shipwreck Hunters Australia producer and director Brendan Hutchens transforms the historic vessel into a living canvas, 25 & 26 AUGUST
