Elske means “with love” in Danish, and it’s this spirit of hospitality we hope will envelop all who enter our cosy space in Fremantle. Nestled in the historic Manning Buildings in the High Street Mall, Elske offers a fresh, wholesome and creative all-day menu inspired by the tastes of Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Expect to find moreish brunch favourites made from scratch alongside mouthwatering smørrebrød, house-cured gravadlax, and other classic Danish delights.

Stop by Thursday to Sunday from 5pm for Danish delights like their signature Smørrebrød topped with fried Margaret River dhufish, Blue swimmer crab and caviar-topped chicken skins, chicken parfait soldiers, zucchini beignets with goats curd and hot spiced honey, and house-made gravadlax served with Crème fraîche, smoked roe and rye wafers.
Now fully licensed, Elske has also launched a Nordic cocktail series based around the traditional Scandinavian spirit, Aquavit, in addition to an extensive wine list.
About the owners
Elske comes from esteemed culinary pair Sean Marshall and Kristina Jensen, who have traversed top kitchens around the world from five-star hotels to chef-hatted establishments and award-winning restaurants. Upon settling in Perth with their family, they transformed Wembley institution Cambridge Corner Store before founding Elske in Fremantle.
