Where to eat, drink, and soak up the FISAF fun this Easter

18 March 2026

It's our favourite time of year... Fremantle International Street Arts Festival is back!

From artisan markets and racks of curated vintage to pop-up ice cream, treasure hunts, music, and plenty of al fresco dining, Freo's streets will be brimming with life this Easter long weekend.

Ready to get in on the action?

STREET-SIDE PARTIES

A crowd gathered outside an old multi-storeyed pub watching a busker.

THE NATIONAL HOTEL

With a Street Arts festival pitch quite literaly on the doorstep, the iconic National Hotel on the corner of Market and High Street's is without a doubt one of the best seats in the house. Head upstairs for birds eye views or get in the thick of the action at street level, where the pub will have extra seating complete with umbrellas.

PIZZA BELLA ROMA

South Terrace stalwarts Bella Roma will be slinging more pizza and good times with an extended dining area directly in front of the existing restaurant. Established in 1972, the crew here have seen their fair share of Street Arts fun over the years so you know you'll be in good hands!

BENNY'S BAR

Another South Terrace institution, Benny's will also be extending onto the street right next door to Bella Roma and creating a family friendly zone with astro turf, tables, chairs, bean bags, and a book display from neighbouring Elizabeth's Bookshop.

MONS. O'SHEA

Street Art, but make it Irish. Mons. O'Shea might have opened just last year but they've already cemented their place as Freo's premier pub to enjoy a Guinness, a spice bag, and some good old Irish hospitality. They'll be taking the warmth of the pub to the street with an outdoor bar and Irish music.

THE OLD COURTHOUSE

The Old Courthouse's expansive lawn becomes its very own pitch this year! Featuring sculptural hairdressing, circus workshops, and two big foam parties on the Sunday and Monday, those who really want to get in on the action should make a beeline here. Prefer to spectate? There'll be plenty of seating and spaces to grab a refreshing pint in the garden.

SHENANIGANS

Freo's newest sports bar is getting in on the action with several additional tables spilling out onto High Street. With one of the festival's pitches just steps away on the corner of Market and High Streets, it'll be the perfect place to rest your feet and fuel up as you peruse the strip.

FAMILY FUN

A woman walks on a tightrope in front of a huge crowd.

SAIL & ANCHOR

The Sail & Anchor has a front-row seat for one of South Terrace's festival pitches but the fun doesn't stop there. There'll be a pop-up Pirate Life Brewing bar, ice cream stall, and kids treasure hunt and you grab the best seats in the house on their balcony. $20 entry for adults including a pint of your choice and $5 for kids with a pop top. First in, best dressed!

SAN CHURRO

Dessert and a show anyone? As well as extending to the street, San Churro will be offering two-for-one churros on any small or medium churros orders! An oh so sweet treat for festival-goers of all ages on a prime location on the Cappuccino Strip.

RETAIL ARTISTS

COMMON GROUND

Common Ground will bring their collection of local art, clothing, homewares, and other goodies to High Street again this year so you can take a piece of our port city home with you. Regular festival-goers will be pleased to hear the mirror display is also making its return, to bring your best selfie game for a digital memento.

THE ARTISAN STORE

Just across the street there's more local finds to uncover, where The Artisan Store will have a range of art, ceramics, paintings, prints, and more from local artists outside their shopfront to explore, with 100% of profits going back to the artist.

VINTAGE MARKET

Further down High Street a selection of Fremantle's favourite vintage stores will be bringing their wares to the street. You'll find Cowboy Karaoke Family Vintage, Freo de Janeiro, Ginger Pudding Vintage, the Upcycling Mutz, Vintage on High, and the Circular Fashion Festival Repair Float.
