It wouldn’t be Winter without a Strange Tastes highlighting one of the best beer companies on the West Coast, so this August we’re calling on FOUND. to keep us warm and chat to us about their favourite beers.
Founded by Will Irving, Scott Player, James Pedlow and Steve Finney, the FOUND. journey began with a shared passion for beer and a desire to create unforgettable hospitality experiences.
Their first venue, FOUND.LAB in Byford, opened its doors in May 2023, and since then have been on a mission to redefine the craft beer scene in Western Australia, with the opening of FOUND. SUBI in December 2024 and the launch of their first cans into market in February 2025.
With a focus on innovation and quality, they craft beers that not only satisfy your tastebuds but also bring people together. From hop-driven wonders to malt-forward delights, their brews are crafted with the finest ingredients and cutting-edge techniques to ensure every sip is a taste of discovery.
They believe in the power of community and the joy of exploration, with their ethos being finding those hidden gems, whether it’s a secret beach track or the perfect beer. It’s about sharing those experiences with mates and creating memories that last a lifetime.
