Tchéga
Get ready to groove because this colourful band is set to whisk you away to the Indian Ocean islands with their Creole folk music. Hailing from Reunion Island and Madagascar, singer-songwriter Carole Katz crafts songs that call upon the tropical sounds she grew up with. Together with the catchy drum rhythms of Tao Issaro and the groovy bass lines of Nathan Joseph, Ridge Moss’ guitar and Adrien Joseph’s saxophone bring in the breeze and sunshine of the tropics for some feel-good island music.
Zukhuta
Zukhuta means “shaking your body”. Formed in 2011, Zukhuta is led by African guitar maestro Mahamudo Selimane, who is joined by multi-Grammy Award winning pedal steel guitarist Lucky Oceans, vocalist Mararo Wangai, as well as Marc Osborne (saxophone), Percy Kalino (bass) and Hardy Perrine (drums).
Mahamudo Selimane is an African musician from Mozambique and has been touring the world with his band Eyuphuro. With Zukhuta, you will dance to a mix of different styles of music. Rhumba, kwassa kwassa, zouk, salsa, afro jazz and more - joyful boogie guaranteed!
TTT Afro Band
Experience the awe-inspiring magic of TTT Afro Band, where rhythms from Africa and beyond unite, enveloping your senses and igniting your soul. Led by Moses Odartei, a luminary of Afro music and master percussionist, alongside Maximilian Afotey Odartei (drums), Ben Nicholls (keyboards), Giuseppe Reina (guitar), and Louis Jonathan Joseph (bass), Adrien Joseph (tenor saxophone) and Shannon Booyens (trumpet) this star-studded international lineup transcends borders and delivers a life-changing musical experience.
After fiery and rapturous breakout performances at festivals including Wave Rock Weekender 2024 and Fremantle Arts Centre’s iconic New Years Day festival in 2025 and the 25th Fremantle International Street Arts Festival, TTT Afro band is ready to burn on the big stage near you!
