FROM THE ARCHIVE features works rarely seen, some never previously exhibited, familiar favourites and new arrivals, offering a fresh perspective on the breadth of art that has passed through the gallery over the years.
Spanning different periods, styles and stories, the exhibition reflects our longstanding relationships with artists and Aboriginal-owned art centres across Australia. It is an opportunity to revisit, rediscover and encounter works anew, with the possibility of finding something distinctive for your collection. Selected artworks will be offered at special prices exclusively in the gallery, with these prices unavailable online. Whether you are a long-standing collector or just beginning to explore First Nations art, we invite you to visit FROM THE ARCHIVE and discover the works, stories and unexpected finds that make this exhibition special.
FROM THE ARCHIVE brings together a considered selection of contemporary First Nations art from Artitja Fine Art Gallery’s history.
