Vessel presents: ‘Regenerative Strategies’ by Gian Manik
‘Regenerative Strategies’, a major new commission by Australian painter Gian Manik, takes the form of nine discrete paintings, hung together to become, in the artist’s own words, ‘a landscape of different things functioning as one mass’. Created in collaboration with over 250 children from eight primary schools in and near the Walyalup/Fremantle area, the work is a reflection upon ideas of environment and place, encompassing pre- and post- colonial landscapes as well as speculative visions for the future.

Vessel is located at the Naval Store: 141 Queen Victoria St, Walyalup.
When possible, we encourage you to catch public transport, there is a bus stop located right out the front on Queen Victoria St (Stop ID: 10280).
The Naval Store is fully accessible, there are two ACROD parking bays located on Tuckfield St, there is a ramp access from this parking to our gallery entrance on Canning Hwy.
Vehicle parking is located on Tuckfield St, and Beach St.
