Army Museum of Western Australia

The Army Museum of Western Australia is a museum located in an historic artillery barracks on Burt Street in Fremantle, Western Australia. The museum was established in 1977 and has three Victoria Crosses on display.

The focus of the collection is to tell the story of the Australian Army in Western Australia and Western Australians in the Army. Galleries cover the period from initial contact through to the present.

Collection items include large armoured vehicles and artillery pieces, weapons, uniforms, medals and personal equipment. The social history of military service and conflict is presented through diaries, oral histories, personal archives and personal objects.
