South Coast Journeys is a newly emerging eco/adventure tour operator offering regular small group tours, with pick-ups in Sydney and Wollongong. Their two primary summer tours are a Surf ‘N’ Snorkel tour and a Surf ‘N’ Dolphin Cruise Tour. The surfing is primarily undertaken at ‘The Farm’, while snorkelling will be in the Royal National Park and the Dolphin cruise at Jervis Bay. Airport transfers also available.

Cancellation Policy

We strongly recommend travel insurance as accidents can happen and emergencies occur. For this reason Travel insurance will protect you should an emergency happen that prevents you from participating on your South Coast Journeys adventure. provides low cost cancellation insurance. (Please note that Online Travel Insurance is a non-affiliated company) If it is necessary for you to cancel your trip you must notify us in writing by email and text. Alternatively call by phone immediately. 15 days and over – No Charge 8-14 days $100 or 30 % of the tour cost 4-7 days $100 or 50 % of the tour cost 4 days or less the 100% of the tour cost (This includes not showing for pick up at the designated departure location and time on the day of departure). We may at our sole discretion reduce transfer or waive your loss of fare for any reason. Your bus departs on time from all destinations. Passengers who miss their bus once on the tour will have to return to Sydney / Wollongong at their own cost. For Group / Charter bookings: Any changes to tours within 7 days from tour date may incur an administration fee of $50 per person. Note: This Administration Fee provides for costs associated with staff re-allocation specifically when staff members are stood down as a result of a booking alteration. Adverse Weather Policy Our activities will normally operate in all but exceptional weather and ocean conditions. Rain wind cold and fog do not prevent us conducting our tours. Unless you hear from us assume your tour is going ahead. We will make every effort to inform you if cancelling your scheduled tour is necessary. Participants that decide not to attend/participate on the basis of weather (against our policy and/or advice) forfeit their full tour fare. We take your safety seriously. You will receive a full refund if South Coast Journeys cancels a tour NOT if activities are altered to a different location due to ocean conditions and other conditions (e.g. Natural Hazards like a bush fires) beyond our control. If ONE of the components i.e. surfing snorkelling or zipline tour is cancelled due to adverse weather you will receive a refund of $50 AUD. At our sole discretion we may reduce the price on another tour or transfer you onto the same tour at a later date. Clients will obtain a partial refund ($50 AUD) or credit when: the Instructor cancels the surfing or snorkelling activity due to unsuitable or dangerous conditions. If water and weathers conditions become unsafe during the activity the instructor may modify the activity and undertake activities on the shore rather than in the water or the activity may be rescheduled for another time or location. While it is highly likely you will see dolphins we CAN NOT guarantee you will see dolphins on the Dolphin Cruise and NO refund for this component will be offered. Removal From Tours No refund is offered if the client refuses to comply with South Coast Journeys policy and the Instructor determines the client cannot participate in the activity. We reserve the right to deny access to tours for anyone who in our opinion is drunk disorderly a hazard to themselves or others abusive not physically able mentally incapable or objectionable in any other way. We will not be liable for any additional expenses incurred as a result of your removal or nonparticipation. If the client advises the Instructor of a medical condition such that the Instructor decides that it would be unsafe for the client to participate in the surfing activity a $50 refund will be offered. If the Instructor becomes aware of a clients medical condition after the lesson has commenced such that the Instructor determines it is unsafe for the client to continue in the activity no refund will be offered. Product Purchase Up to 30 days from date of purchase the client can: •obtain a 100% refund for products purchased should they be damaged or faulty. •exchange for products that are unsuitable. Minors All South Coast Journeys’ staff have successfully undertaken a Working with Children Check (NSW). Participants under the age of 18 must have a parental consent form completed by their parent or guardian. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless prior arrangements have been made with management. Please call our office to confirm before booking.
