Book your Fremantle experience today

We are thrilled to announce that this November, Fremantle will come alive with incredible art installations across the city.

The Fremantle Biennale is a unique event hosting the best in site-responsive art. From 1 - 24 November, a large-scale exhibition will spread throughout Fremantle and take over venues, streetscapes and local landmarks with evocative performance, symposium, light installation, photography, audiovisual and dance works.

Invited Australian and international artists will present works that respond to the history, landscape and communities that make-up the rich tapestry of Fremantle.

The Biennale presents a distinct visual arts program, Undercurrent 19, that builds on Fremantle's reputation as a creative city. Take a look at the video below that shows the diversity of the works that will be featured.

One of these works will be Waterlicht by Studio Roosegaarde at Esplanade Reserve from 1 - 3 November and we encourage you to take a sneak peak at the video and be inspired to plan your trip to Fremantle over the first weekend in November.
