Time for lunch (or an arvo snack if you did the 2 pm tour). Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour is a short stroll up Mews Road with loads of seafood options. Show your whale watch ticket at Cicerello’s for 10% discount. Head over to Little Creatures for a pint of WA’s finest. Beer aficionados can book a brewery tour while the kids hang out at Esplanade Youth Plaza just across the railway line (don’t forget the scooters and skateboards).

Kick off the afternoon with a guided walking tour of Fremantle. The guides have down all the hard yards researching the fascinating and sometimes obscure facts about the history of Freo and are ready to share over a couple of hours. All you need to do is enjoy–it’s a great way to get to know the city.
