2nd International Watercolour Exhibition Fremantle - 150 paintings from 15 different countries on show for two weeks. Not to be missed!

The Watercolour Society of Western Australia has had a great relationship with the City of Fremantle for many years. We are again pleased to hold our 2nd International Watercolour Exhibition in the historic Moores Building. Top watercolourists from 15 nations will be exhibiting their work for two weeks and excitingly, they will not be behind glass, so you can get up close and personal, see the brush strokes and flow of paint and marvel at the different styles and techniques.

150 paintings will be exhibited with many different styles, showing the soft and gentle, the bold and vibrant, sweeping landscapes, magical portraits, energetic abstracts, still life and more. Countries exhibiting are: Australia (Societies from Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales), Belgium, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, The Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Spain and Vietnam. Plein Air Competition on Saturday 11th June with first prize of $2,000 and many more. Workshops with renown Watercolourists Joseph Zbukvic and Lisa Wang, plus many talented local artists.
